Frequently asked questions

Welcome to Moore for Men, your trusted Canadian physician-led eClinic specializing in Testosterone Replacement Therapy (TRT). We’re committed to making personalized healthcare simple, affordable, and accessible. Below, you’ll find answers to some of the most common questions about our services, treatment process, and pricing to help you make an informed decision about your health and well-being.

How does the TRT process work?

1. Online Assessment
Begin your journey with a quick and easy online questionnaire. This helps us gather initial information about your symptoms.

2. Physician Assessment
Once you submit your questionnaire, our licensed physicians will carefully review your responses. We’ll issue a lab requisition form for comprehensive blood work to evaluate your hormone levels.

3. Physician Consultation

After receiving your lab results, you’ll have a personalized consultation phone call with one of our expert physicians. They will:
•Discuss your test results.
•Assess whether TRT is the right treatment for you.
•Answer any questions you may have about the therapy.

If TRT is deemed appropriate, your prescription will be sent directly to our partnered pharmacy for processing.

4. Convenient Delivery
We value your privacy and convenience. Your medication will be shipped directly to your doorstep in discreet packaging. For added security, all shipments are sent with a ‘signature required’ policy to ensure safe delivery.

How do you know if you are living with low testosterone?

Low testosterone can manifest in various ways, including fatigue, reduced sex drive, erectile dysfunction, mood swings, depression, and reduced muscle mass. If you experience these symptoms, particularly if you’re over 30, a blood test can determine your testosterone levels.

Why is blood work required?

Blood work is crucial to accurately diagnose low testosterone and to tailor the treatment plan to your specific needs. It helps determine your baseline testosterone levels and monitor the effectiveness of the therapy over time. Additionally, treatment may have adverse effects that need to be monitored closely, hence, blood work is completed quarterly.

Is my treatment guaranteed?

While Moore Health Group is committed to delivering effective treatment plans, individual results may vary, and treatment eligibility cannot be guaranteed. Testosterone will be prescribed based on medical necessity.

Will TRT affect my fertility?

TRT may impact fertility, as it can reduce sperm production and lower fertility levels. If preserving fertility is a priority for you, be sure to consult with your healthcare provider to explore your options before beginning treatment.

How long does the eligibility process take?

The eligibility process, from completing the online assessment to receiving the results of your initial blood work, typically takes about 1 to 2 weeks.

Does my insurance cover this medication?

Insurance coverage depends on your specific plan. Please contact your insurance provider for further information.

Who is providing this treatment?

Treatments are provided by licensed Canadian physicians. Each physician undergoes extensive training to diagnose and manage the conditions offered by Moore Health Group.

Will a signature be required upon delivery?

A signature is required for all controlled substances, while non-controlled substances can be delivered without a signature.

What is the process of a follow-up?

You’ll receive ongoing support throughout your treatment, not just at the end of your cycle. If you ever need to speak with a physician, you can request a consultation at any time. As part of your care, we’ll send you a follow-up blood work requisition near the end of each treatment cycle – this is emailed directly to you for convenience.

Once your results are reviewed by our medical team, you’ll be required to have a scheduled  follow-up consultation to go over your progress, adjust your dosage if needed, and address any concerns. You’ll also receive access to educational resources, treatment guidance, and practitioner support to help you get the most out of your plan.

What are the expenses involved in the Moore TRT program?

The Moore TRT program offers an affordable and transparent pricing structure. It begins with a free initial consultation and blood requisition to assess your eligibility for treatment. If you choose to proceed, you will receive a free call to the physician. Should you be prescribed, treatment is priced depending on the tailored prescription provided.
