WHAT TO EXPECT WHEN RECEIVING VIRTUAL CARE FROM ONTARIO DOCTORS
Welcome to Moore Health Group! These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Moore Health Group website, services, and applications (the “Service”).
Moore Health Group (“Moore Health Group,” “we”, “our”, or “us”) operates the proprietary website mooreformen.ca, allowing users (“User,” “Users,” “you,” or “your”) to create an online profile (“Account”), connect with licensed practitioners, place prescription orders, view personal prescription history, add personal medical information, schedule medication and personal health product shipments, and chat securely with certified pharmacists. The Service is designed to provide convenient access to medication, medical advice, and telemedicine support.
The Service also enables Users who are healthcare practitioners to access profiles of Users who have provided explicit permission and to contact them about prescription orders. If you are a healthcare professional using the Service on behalf of a pharmacy, then you are agreeing to these Terms, and “User,” “Users,” “you,” and “your” also refer to you.
These Terms, together with the Privacy Notice, constitute the entire agreement between you and us. Your use of the Service is voluntary. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms, comply with them, and indemnify us for any failure to comply. If you do not agree to these Terms and the Privacy Notice, please do not use the Service.
Your Account
When you sign up to become a User, you will register by creating a unique Account. We collect your “Personal Information” (information that can uniquely identify you) and a password to create your Account and authenticate you when signing in. The information you provide in your Account is necessary to confirm your identity, set up your delivery address, and enable healthcare providers to contact you regarding prescription orders. For details on how we manage and protect your Personal Information, please see our Privacy Notice. Your Personal Information may also be shared with healthcare practitioners to whom we connect you.
Service and Medical Advice
Licensed healthcare professionals (including pharmacists and medical practitioners) provide health recommendations to Users through Moore Health Group’s secure chat or over the phone.
Other than direct communication with healthcare professionals, content found on the Service or linked to the Service, such as text, graphics, images, or information from third parties, is for informational purposes only and is not intended to substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Moore Health Group disclaims all liability arising from reliance on such materials.
If you have a medical emergency, call 911 or your local emergency number immediately.
The Service does not endorse any product, medical practitioner, procedure, opinion, treatment, or therapy.
Your Use of the Service
Moore Health Group grants you a limited, revocable, and non-exclusive license to access and make personal use of the Service. You agree to be solely responsible for all activity that occurs on your Account, including the information you provide.
Prohibited Activities:
You agree not to:
•Use the Service in any way that violates laws or regulations.
•Provide false information or create unauthorized accounts.
•Share another person’s information without explicit permission.
•Reverse-engineer, decompile, or tamper with the Service’s technology.
•Access areas of the Service you are not authorized to use.
•Transmit harmful code or disrupt Service functionality.
Privacy
We are committed to protecting your privacy. Please refer to our Privacy Notice to understand how we collect, use, and safeguard your information. By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in our Privacy Notice.
Shipping Policy
•Processing Time: Orders are processed within 1–3 business days after prescriber approval.
•Shipping: Medication is shipped free of charge within Canada. Tracking numbers are provided once shipped.
•Delays: In case of high order volumes or unforeseen delays, we will notify you.
Termination
You may delete your Account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, Moore Health Group will retain information as required by law or regulatory bodies.
1. Contact Information
A merchant must provide up-to-date and responsive contact information on its website. At a minimum, this includes:
•An accurate street address and phone number.
•For any health care provider, a mechanism (either a phone number or secure communication via the internet) that allows patients to contact a health care provider regarding their care.
2. Website Transparency
A merchant must not engage in any conduct or post content on its website that may deceive, mislead, or defraud its users.
3. Domain Name Registration
The domain name registration information of the merchant’s primary website must:
•Be accurate.
•Be non-anonymized.
•Have a logical nexus to the merchant.
4. Affiliates
A merchant’s affiliates must comply with all program standards. For purposes of NABP’s Healthcare Merchant Accreditation program, the term “Affiliate” is defined broadly to include any entity that:
1. Shares or has shared ownership with the merchant within the past 12 months.
2.May be involved, directly or indirectly, in the merchant’s services.
Examples of Affiliates Include:
•(a) An entity that shares or has shared an owner, control, or management-level staff with the merchant in the past 12 months.
•(b) An entity that shares contact information (e.g., phone number or street address) with the merchant.
•(c) An entity that has a formal or informal business relationship with the merchant or its principals.
•(d) Any entity involved in the chain of patient care (e.g., downstream fulfillment pharmacies, upstream telemedicine platforms, medical providers).
•(e) Any website to which the merchant’s website(s) link.
No Warranty
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. Moore Health Group does not guarantee the accuracy, reliability, or availability of the Service.
